DTF Transfer Application Instructions

  1. Prep the Garment: Set your heat press to 300°F–320°F with medium-heavy pressure. Pre-press the fabric for 3–5 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.
  2. Align and First Press: Place your transfer design-side up on the garment. Cover the design completely with a Teflon sheet or parchment paper. Press for 12–15 seconds.
  3. Peel: Remove the garment from the press. Wait until the film is warm or completely cold to the touch. Peel the film off slowly and smoothly in one continuous motion.
  4. Final Lock: Place the Teflon sheet back over the bare design and press one final time for 5 seconds to help lock the ink into the fabric fibers.
